More Packing

After packing up the kitchen packing has begun for my first trip in 12 months. Essential supplies among the first things on board!

Box Seat

This is the reason I always put food on a board or plate, not straight onto the bench. 

Elevation is critical to back yard supervision. (Yes, my kitchen is cluttered and I absolutely am looking forward to more bench space when the new one is installed and yes, I am going to attempt to keep it tidier but no promises)

Milestone

After a long summer and an unseasonably warm autumn yesterday was a milestone day, it was cold enough to bring out the puffer. 

Also, only just realised how lovely our bus stop roofs are.

Surprise!

All the stuff for renovating my bathroom is soon going to be stored in my garage. That meant this morning’s job was to make as much space as possible. I decided to put various random lengths of plywood left over from previous work up into the rafters. Some of the roof space is already closed in and in all the time I’ve been here I’ve never been up a ladder to have a look. Manoeuvring bits of ply around I hit an obstacle and look what I found…
