Visitors!

Second test of all the renovations with a house load of visitors, family from Aus for the first time since Covid. Everything passed especially the kitchen. 

Weavers Away

Another wonderful Anniversary Weekend weave up. Big things made, tiny things made and all sorts of things in between. 

Just Concentrating

First week back at work for 2023 so my focus has been on; getting up on time every morning, remembering to catch a different bus (Saturday timetable all of Jan ☹️), remembering my passwords, working out who is coming back from leave when, remembering to take my lunch (favourite cafe closed). 

So far I think I’ve been successful, roll on week two. 

A Productive Week

I’ve either started the way I’m going to continue or used up the year’s productivity in one big splurge, only time will tell. Either way this week I have oiled the deck, put away the last of the packed up stuff from the renovations, taken down the Christmas tree, filled the holes in the lawn, had the car serviced and am a good way in to making the spare rooms habitable for upcoming guests. 

Not bad. Next test is going back to work on Monday.

And Relax

New Year’s Eve, laundry on the line and no plans for the rest of the day. 

Full Workout

The new kitchen got a full workout today and it was fantastic!  Stuff everywhere and still plenty of room for things like 3 recipe books layed out separately. There is still a little bit of piling up going on though, some habits are hard to break.

Ribbons and Bows

There’s more than just trees and tinsel going up, even some of the bus stops are getting a festive makeover.
